Hi, my name is Emilee!
I'm the face behind Fire & Fern Studios! I started doing photography back in 2012 right after I graduated high school and bought by first DSLR. It was my dream back then to start a business doing photography full time but quickly got busy with working and pushed that dream to the back burner.
Now that I'm finally in a time of life where I have the time to focus more on growing this small business. It's definitely a passion of mine to take this further and some day make it my full time job. But for right now, I'm just happy in the now.
Even though Fire & Fern isn't my full time business, I'm still blessed to say that I am a full time photographer! While I moonlight as a family and lifestyle photographer, during my "9-5" I'm running around photographing puppies which needless to say was never a job I thought I'd ever have!
